FORJARS® Recipe of the Month

Terms & Conditions

We invite home canners to share their favorite original canning recipes and become part of the FORJARS® community. Each month, one recipe will be selected as our Recipe of the Month, with the opportunity to win a $1,000 USD cash prize and be featured on the official FORJARS® website.

By participating in this contest, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Eligibility

1. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

2. Open to legal residents of the United States and Canada only.

3. One recipe submission per participant for the entire contest period.

Contest Period

The contest runs on a monthly basis. Exact start and end dates for each month will be announced by FORJARS®.

How to Enter

1. Submit your original home canning recipe in the official FORJARS® Facebook Group:

2. The recipe must be submitted in one (1) original post and in one of the following formats:

   • Video, or

   • Detailed step-by-step photos

3. Each submission must include:

   • A complete list of ingredients with precise measurements, and

   • Clear, step-by-step preparation instructions.

4. Only FORJARS® jars and lids may be used in the recipe.

5. The recipe must follow a tested and approved method in accordance with NCHFP and/or USDA home canning guidelines.

Winner Selection

1. The winner will be determined at the beginning of the following month.

2. The winning recipe will be the submission that receives the highest total number of likes and comments on a single original post.

3. Only likes and comments on one original submission will be counted.

4. Participants may share their recipe and encourage others to like or comment.

Comments & Engagement

1. All genuine comments are counted, including short comments such as “👍” or “🔥”.

2. Spam comments will not be counted.

3. Likes or comments from fake, inactive, or newly created accounts will not be counted.

4. Any attempt to manipulate engagement, including the use of fake accounts or paid services, will result in immediate disqualification.

Disqualification

FORJARS® reserves the right to disqualify any participant if:

• These Terms & Conditions are violated,

• Fraudulent activity or engagement manipulation is detected,

• The recipe does not meet contest requirements, or

• FORJARS® products are not properly used.

Prize

1. One (1) $1,000 USD cash prize will be awarded.

2. The winning recipe will be featured on the official FORJARS® website.

Rights Reserved

FORJARS® reserves the right to:

• Not award the prize if no eligible submissions meet contest standards, and

• Make all final and binding decisions regarding eligibility, scoring, and winner selection.

Additional terms, including tax responsibilities and content usage rights, will be provided separately to the selected winner as part of a contractual agreement.
