Yes it’s nice to have new Gem jar lids & ring as we have a lot of the old Gem jars.
Looked great but almost all 2025 lids failed.
Enamel side had black mineralization.
Very very very disappointed. I don't mind paying premium price for premium product when it is quality however a lot of work, time and expense went into a wholecyear's worth of preserves. I reordered and have put most of 2026's garden into jars. I sure hope it doesn't fail again!
I have looked for YEARS to find a good quality, best functioning Apron. Forgot free gift and parting lines rough
I decided to give Forjars a try as I've been questioning the quality of some the types of lids and rings I've been purchasing. Lately I've pressured canned a couple of batches and I've had a lids fail. I ordered. Was impressed with the order, the packaging and the delivery speed. I used some of the lids and rings a few days ago and was happy to see how quickly they sealed up. I also found the lids to be of good quality, a thicker lid and more of a seal too. Did I mention how convenient it is to just have supplies delivered to you house?? :)
The square shape and added weight make these jars stand out. For Jars is the best for canning lids and now jars.
